The Irukandji or Carukia barnesi are the most dangerous jellyfish in Australia.

These jellyfish are very small about 5 inches in circumference and the tentacles are about 3 feet. This jellyfish paralyzes you in minutes, which means if you don't get out of the water you'll die drowning. If you do get out. You will die in just hours if you're not treated quickly. So please read signs when you're on the beach.
